Hello everyone!

This is a quick update to remind you to answer your BackerKit surveys before we lock them and charge cards on October 28st! Also, remember that if you pledged for the $149 tier or above your name will appear in the credits of the anime!

If we do not receive a reply from you before October 28th, the name used for the credits will be the one appearing in your Kickstarter account. If you didn't set up an alias or nickname, it might be possible that your real name will be the one listed, so if you want a different name to be shown there, please answer the question in BackerKit for that or send us a message or comment here in Kickstarter!

We will be back with more details about how the production of the anime is going!

Hello everyone!

First, we want to say thank you to all of our backers once again for making not only the campaign, but also the English dub stretch goal a success! We couldn't do it without you!

We're still working out all the details of the dub - selecting a studio, working out distribution rights, etc. - and we expect this to take a little longer, but as soon as we have details set in stone we'll be sure to share them with everyone!

In more immediate news: BackerKit surveys have now been sent out, so check your email for your survey link! Ssurveys will be open until October 21, so be sure to get your add-on orders and pledge upgrades in by then! Additionally, if your pledge includes it please at the very least answer the "Please enter your name for the ending credits! "pledge question by September 30. See below for more details on BackerKit!

We also wanted to let you know that pre-orders have begun for our latest PC visual novel Loca-Love! Loca-Love: My Cute Roommate is a mature visual novel about the exciting but slightly awkward love life of protagonist Aoi Ichitaro! You can get physical copies, exclusive goodies, and more through the pre-order campaign, so check it out!

Back to BackerKit: for those of you who are new to the system, we'll guide you through the process in advance. Keep reading! (Please note that these images are for a difference campaign, but the process is the same!)

• Survey Email

This is what the email in your inbox will look like. Simply click the "Click Here to Respond" link to continue.

• BackerKit Welcome Page

You'll be greeted with this page after clicking the link in your survey email. If your pledge tier includes physical items, the shipping country drop-down will appear, and should be automatically set to the country you entered on BackerKit. If you want to change your pledge level, click on "Want to switch your pledge level?"; otherwise, click "Get Started!" and skip on down to the "Pledge Questions" section of this update.

• Changing pledge level

Any backer can switch to any non-limited pledge tier, even if you didn't select a pledge tier when backing on Kickstarter, or if your payment failed on Kickstarter. You cannot switch into any of the limited-quantity pledge tiers, and please note that if you pledged for a limited-quantity tier on Kickstarter and switch out of it, you will not be able to change back to that limited-quantity tier. Also please note that even if you switch to a lower pledge tier, you will not receive a refund for any pledged funds - the leftover money will only be available to use on BackerKit for purchasing add-ons.

• Pledge Questions

Depending on your pledge tier, you will be asked a few questions about your rewards, such as what language you would like for the physical and/or digital manga, what tapestry design you want, or what t-shirt size you want. Simply select the appropriate answer and click "Next Question" until all pledge questions have been answered. Then click "Next: Add-ons".

• Add-On Shop

Here is where you can look at and purchase the various add-ons available for the campaign. Simply click "View" for an add-on to open the add-on details page (more below) and add it to your cart.

In the area marked Items Included In Your Pledge, you can check what items are included in your pledge level. Click "View all __ items" to view the item list if it is not expanded by default.

Add-on items on the right-hand side displays all add-on items currently in your cart. The total cost shown here does not include the additional shipping charges for add-ons.

Balance shows you a breakdown of your contribution funds. "Your Pledge Amount" is the actual dollar amount you contributed to the campaign, and "Pledge Level", "Pledge Level Shipping", and "Add-ons" display the amount you are spending in the respective areas. The next line will display "Amount Owed" if your campaign contribution does not cover the total of your pledge level and add-ons; otherwise it will say "Amount Owed" and show how much more money you need to pay for your selected pledge level and add-ons. (Again, this amount does not include additional shipping costs for add-ons.)

Once you have selected any and all add-ons you want, click "Next" to proceed to the address entry screen.

• Add-On Details

Clicking "View" for an add-on will bring up a page like this. You can select the quantity and, if applicable, design of the add-on, and then add it to your cart.

• Address Entry

If your campaign pledge included physical items, you should have been asked for your address on Kickstarter, and that address will be automatically imported here. If your original pledge did not contain any physical items, but you are purchasing physical add-ons or switched into a tier containing physical items, you will need to enter your address here.

Upon clicking "Next", BackerKit will automatically examine your address, and make adjustment suggestions if applicable. If you receive a message saying "Sorry, we couldn't validate your address." but know the entered address to be correct, please click "Submit" again to continue to the confirmation page.

• Confirmation Page

On this page you can confirm the contents and cost of your order, including shipping charges for add-ons. If you owe any money for your pledge level or add-ons, the payment information entry area will be displayed. Please enter your payment information into this area and click "Confirm".

• Success Screen

This page will be displayed once you have successfully completed your survey. Please feel free to use the provided buttons to share the BackerKit page on social media.

At this point your order is complete. If your pledge level contains digital rewards, you will receive another email as soon as they are distributed.

English dub stretch goal reached!!

We did it! Thanks to so many generous backers, we've hit the 700 people required to guarantee an English dub of the Grisaia: Phantom Trigger anime adaptation!

At the time of this update, we're only a few backers above the goal, and we know some might drop out near the end of the campaign, but between the number of backers, the current funding amount, and anticipated additional funds in BackerKit, we can 100% promise that the English dub will be a reality.

There's just a couple hours left in the campaign, but that's still plenty of time to pledge and spread the word - the more we raise, the more we can invest into making the dub as high-quality as possible!

Thank you so much to all of you who have pledged, and everyone who's helped bring new backers to the campaign. We couldn't do it without you!

We believed in you and you believed in us, and together we've managed to hit our goal! Grisaia Phantom Trigger: The Animation is now 100% funded!

 

As we mentioned before, this is not the end of the road: we still have the English Dub stretch goal to reach, but we're very confident we will be able to do so with the BackerKit funding!

We also want to share with you here some production materials for the anime: we managed to get a hold of a few Mihama Academy backgrounds that you will surely recognize if you've played the games! We hope you're as excited as we are to see these populated with our animated heroines!

Thank you so much to the stream of backers that have been pouring in over the last few days! With your help, our goal is now in sight, and there's more than enough time to meet it and beyond!

We'll be keeping a close eye on the campaign as it nears the deadline, especially for the final 24 hours, but we're extremely confident about meeting our goal. And with the additional funding we're anticipating from BackerKit, we absolutely believe the English Dub stretch goal is more than feasible to be met!

We do have one slight addition to announce: we've added the $30 digital download to the add-on list, so if you want to add a digital version to your pledge (and help push us that much closer to the goal), we welcome it with open arms! We'll have more tomorrow as we move towards the finish line, but for now, please keep spreading the word, and we will too!
